Segovia, in a privileged location with the Sierra de Guadarrama as its backdrop, in the south of the Castile and León region. A UNESCO World Heritage city, it boasts a magnificent aqueduct (2nd century AD), a fantastic Alcázar (first documented in 1122), and the Cathedral of Santa María and San Frutos (the last Gothic cathedral built in Spain). Its streets and squares are also filled with religious temples, palaces, convents, and gardens.
